The Edward Elgar Riverboat Hotel stages live entertainment after dinner on at least one night per holiday cruise and two nights during the longer 6-day cruises. The style of music is normally ‘easy listening’ swing or blues, plus some popular music performed in a fun atmosphere where you may like to sing along, or dance the night away to make your river cruise holiday even more memorable.

Games

On many days we organise a morning game of deck quoits where you can provide some live entertainment of your own. The competition isn’t too serious but the overall winners during each cruise will be awarded their own special prize to mark their achievement.

On some evenings, we also run table quizzes where the separate tables team up to compete. We have a vast selection of entertaining quizzes which have been collected over the years. And of course the winners get a prize!
