Individuals and Groups can do something different for a seasonal lunch outing this year, aboard the Edward Elgar Riverboat Hotel. Celebrate in style and comfort while we cruise on the waterway and serve you a delicious traditional four-course Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings. These cruises run from around 8th December. We can also run special lunch outings on the Edward Elgar Riverboat Hotel based on the Christmas Lunch cruise format for groups between 1st November and 1st April each year.

Special Event Charters

Edward Elgar is available for private hire to provide a unique venue for your special event, be it an anniversary celebration, special birthday, family reunion or group of friends looking for something completely different.

For special events with an overnight stay on board, Edward Elgar can accommodate 22 people in 11 twin cabins but for a daytime cruise and meal she can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 36 people. We offer various packages starting from a 3 hour canal cruise with lunch to a full 2-day 2-night holiday cruise including meals, accommodation and cruising. Corporate Charters

Edward Elgar is also a unique venue for corporate use. You may wish to stage a sales presentation cruise with a buffet meal, or a conference cruise for a day along with all the meals you might require. If so, we can accommodate up to 36 people comfortably for a day your staff or clients will never forget!

Alternatively, you might want to hold a board meeting, team building event or other strategic ‘awayday’ with a difference. If so, we can provide a unique cruise, meeting facilities, overnight accommodation and some finer dining for a smaller group of say 10 senior executives. Their partners might also want to come along for the cruising!
